Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas

We first sailed on Anthem of the Seas in August 2021. We have sailed on Anthem of the Seas a number of times since. We really enjoyed Anthem of the Seas with amazing venues and entertainment and the great standards and service provided by Royal Caribbean.

This gives a brief overview of Anthem of the Seas. Subsequent blogs will look at various aspects in more detail.

Anthem of the Seas entered service in 2015 and is one of Royal Caribbean's Quantum Class ships. The 168,666 ton ship carries about 4,900 passengers. Anthem of the Seas hosts a range of dining options, bars, entertainment venues as well as some exciting activities such as bumper cars, a sky-dive simulator and the North Star, a capsule which takes people 300 feet above sea level.

There are numerous dining options available on Anthem of the Seas ranging from the main dining rooms (included in the cruise fare) to speciality dining which includes Jamie’s Italian, Chop's Grille (steak and seafood), the magical Wonderland (a unique creative cuisine dining experience) and Izumi (Japanese Cuisine). Suite guests can also enjoy the Coastal Kitchen dining venue.

There is a range of casual dining venues including the Seaplex Dog House (hotdogs), Café Promenade, Sorrento’s (for pizza), Café @ Two70° (salads and sandwiches) and the buffet -Windjammer Marketplace.

There is plenty of entertainment available on board. The Royal Theatre hosts a wide range of outstanding shows. Two70° is an impressive venue with 270-degree panoramic views of the sea and offers performances both day and night. The Music Hall features live music. At the Bionic Bar you can have your favourite cocktail made by a robotic bartender. Throughout the ship there are other quieter bars and lounges.

During the day a huge range of entertainment is available. This ranges from quizzes to rock climbing, FlowRider (surfing), RipCord by iFly Skydive Simulator (skydiving), bumper cars and swimming pools.

Anthem of the Seas caters for those who like to relax and unwind with spa facilities and other health and fitness venues available.
