We first sailed on Celebrity Silhouette in August 2021. We have sailed on Silhouette a number of times since. We love Celebrity Silhouette, finding it a nice sized ship, easy to navigate, with beautiful surroundings, a fantastic crew, a lovely atmosphere and the great service provided by Celebrity Cruises.

This gives a brief overview of Celebrity Silhouette. Subsequent blogs will look at various aspects in more detail.

Celebrity Silhouette is a Solstice-class ship and was launched in 2011 and “revolutionized”(updated) in 2020. The 122,210 ton Celebrity Silhouette carries nearly 3,000 passengers.

Celebrity Silhouette offers sleekly styled spaces, quality dining venues, an array of bars and fantastic entertainment.

Most staterooms and suites are located on decks 6 to 12. The pools are on Deck 12. The rest of the ship’s decks house restaurants, shops, bars, entertainment and wellness venues.

The many bars and lounges include The Passport Bar (a stylish lounge), The Martini Lounge (a chic and glamourous venue), Craft Social Bar (a more casual spot), Ensemble Lounge (a sophisticated and stylish lounge) and Cafe al Bacio (a bright cafe atmosphere).

The dining venues include the Grand Cuvee Dining Room (included in the cruise fare) plus a range of exclusive dining venues including “Le Petit Chef” where guests experience a fun animated dining experience. Not to be forgotten is the Oceanview Cafe on Deck 14 which offers a casual dining experience.

There are diverse entertainment options on Celebrity Silhouette. The Silhouette Theatre is a magnificent venue that showcases world-class productions and performances. The main atrium is used in the evening, providing live entertainment with other venues hosting live music. During the day there is a wide range of activities to keep everyone entertained, should you wish.

There is a fitness centre and health and wellness venues for those seeking relaxation and spa treatments. Shopping is also available with a range of shops on board.

The Lawn Club is an area of real grass that tops every Solstice-class ship's stern sun deck area. On Silhouette this is an exclusive area, however, the addition of a giant screen showing movies opens this spaces to all guests.

The Retreat Deck (Deck 16) is an exclusive sundeck for suite passengers only.
